Not a day goes by that we don’t think of our sweet Casey. I truly can not recall a time when the family gathered (and that was often) that Casey didn’t greet everyone in her usual friendly and excited way. Hearing “Hi Aunt Janice!” my glance turned to see Casey’s beautiful face bearing a shining smile and happy green eyes framed in golden strands of hair.
We miss Casey terribly and no doubt will always feel the pain, however as the weeks and months go by, more and more I feel her presence and hold her in my heart. It is comforting to know that nothing and no one can take that part of her away from me.
