In November, 1999, when I visited Springfield for a Feldman family Thanksgiving, Casey, who saw how much fun I had playing with her cats, urged me to adopt a cat when I returned to Wisconsin.
My name is Lisa Rodgers, and I did not know Casey personally but we share mutual friends including Elyse Marinelli, and Melissa Zirolli whom I just met at WCU while taking a summer course.
As summer begins again and our new batch of law clerks arrive at the firm (Casey’s dad Joels firm- I’m his law partner) I can’t help but think of Casey and her rather remarkable first day on the job so, I thought I’d share the story.
