I think of Casey as someone who loved life and lived to the fullest. If I were to describe her in one word, I would choose the word ‘radiant’. Casey is one student out of the hundreds I’ve taught in my thirty-nine years of teaching (I retired in 2006), whom I will always remember. She was the top student in her journalism class and made teaching fun for me. Casey was a terrific role model for the younger students in the class, she had lots and lots of friends and will be missed by many, including me.
